Original Item: Only One Available. This is a great example of the M1904 Garrison belt with included straps and a saber chape and hanger. The M1904 was adopted by the US Army around 1904, during the conversion from black to russet leather. The garrison belt was worn with very few changes until 1942. This belt could be worn with a variety of accessories for either mounted or dismounted duties.
Behind the buckle is the stamp 38, certainly the size but we can’t say one way or the other which is the size now. One piece of the saber chape is broken and was repaired with a twist tie. Otherwise the set just has verdigris.
