This is a great example of a Post-WWII “trench art” lighter manufactured by companies such as Samuel Kravitt of New Haven, Connecticut. This example comes with a copy of an advertisement for this very style of lighter.
This example retains its original paint with the yellow ring around the throat. The body is marked with an L in a diamond denoting manufacture by the rare maker Littlestown Foundry.
The bottom has a screw-in that can be unscrewed to reload the fuel.
