Original Item. Only One Available. This is a very nice leather-covered copper powder flask manufactured during the Mexican-American War era. This example has a great period leather covering which shows some heavy wear and cracking. There are two suspension rings on the sides.
The flask is marked PATENT on the top of the cap which is still unscrewable. There is no powder remaining in the flask. This was likely meant as a hunting flask given the depiction. A very beautiful flask that will fit well into any Civil War or 19th Century firearm collection! The flask measures roughly 7¾” in length.
