Original Item: Only One Available. This is a great genuine U.S. M1887 sling. Constructed as a two piece sling - not the stitched 2 piece type- with brass double claw hook on one end and a brass stud button on the other. There are two leather keeper loops. These were designed for the Springfield Trapdoor or Krag rifles.
Condition of leather is good and brown, has stiffened over time, complete with heavy stitching, proper adjustment holes and correct pattern double brass hook. It is unmarked and is stitched with three rows in the middle. Some cracking is evident but overall functional and serviceable. An excellent upgrade for any Springfield Trapdoor or Krag rifle!
