Original Item. Only One Available. A mucket was a covered tin cup used by Civil War soldiers for cooking and boiling coffee. They were issued but many soldiers made them from their cups. This example retains the handle but the lid is gone.
The bottom of the cup has some faint etchings which may have been a name originally, but it cannot be read now. The cup is unmarked and the carry handle is attached to the side loops which are riveted.
