Original Items: Very Few Available. We have just acquired a small number of these rare lovely UO-243 45mm Fragmentation rounds, complete with in their shell casings and fitted with KTM-1 Fuzes. Rounds such as this were designed to produce the maximum number of lethal fragments, which would damage personnel and equipment. These were used in the M1937 and M1942 Anti-Tank Guns, as well as in the 45mm tank guns M1932 and M1934, which were mounted in the obsolete Soviet T-70 light tank. The rounds are completely inert and void of any explosive content, and are total compliance with the current BATF regulations governing the ownership of inert ordnance. Not Available For Export.
These rounds measure approximately 17 1/2 x 2 1/4" (at base), and are offered in good condition. They do not look to have been ground dug, but all will definitely show oxidation (now cleaned away) to the shell and fuze. There are usually some markings still visible on the shell. These come either either brass or steel shell casings (our choice), which will most likely show markings, however we cannot guarantee any specific markings.
These rare rounds will make a great addition to any WW2 ordnance collection!
