Original Item. Only One Available. This is an interesting Japanese WWII or Post-WWII visor cap worn by a member of a Japanese Veterans Association, possibly for members of the Japanese air force. The cap is tan in color with an oxidized brass plane insignia badge to the front. There is a faux patent leather chinstrap to the front held in by two oxidized brass Japanese cherry blossom buttons. The visor shows some heavy cracking in the finish and is now very stiff.
The interior retains the lining and heavily stiffened oilcloth sweatband. There is a tag on the interior crown with a Kanj stamp.
A very interesting cap, worthy of further research. Ready for display.
