Original Items: Only One Set Available. This is a lovely set of original German WWII Wool Felt Sentry Winter Boots with hobnails (Wehrmacht Winterstiefel). A pair of extremely well-preserved Wehrmacht winter sentry boots, constructed of a stacked leather sole secured to heavy pieces of leather with hobnails, in turned lined by wool.
The bottom of the exterior sole bears a size number of “29”. With the exception of minor, age-appropriate fatigue, they are in extremely fine condition but do show heavy service wear. Both of the original buckles to tighten the boots are retained, as are the pull-up straps. One of the two had a strange tailor’s card inside for a place in Utica, NY, certainly unrelated.
