  • Original Item: Now from the Winter offensive on the Russian Front we have found genuine German SS issue FROSTSCHUTZALBE in original SS marked tube.


    This is what we know today as lip salve, which the SS applied to their faces and also their small arms to avoid freezing in the temperatures that fell as low as -40 Fahrenheit in the Russian winter.


    The tube is marked with FROSTSCHUTZSALBE, WEHRKEZICKSTDTSPORK VI, OSNOBRUCK,SS - PACKUNG and is filled with a Vaseline type ointment.


    An interesting and extremely unusual Original German WW2 SS military accessory not before encountered.


    Tube is approximately 4" in length.
