Original Item. Only One Available. This is a group of shooting proficiency books all named to Erich Sohns of 2. / H.U.S. Sternberg, a unit we have not been able to identify, but most likely is a training unit. His rank is listed as Schütze (Rifleman), the lowest infantry rank, equivalent to a prvate. The books are dated 1942/43, with three books in total all connected in a larger cover which is in rougher shape. The last of the three books are for Light Machine Gun Proficiency.
The larger cover measures 6¾" x 4¼”. There is a unit stamp on the front cover but it is too faded to read. The books are well filled-out with targets and many entries giving his scores. This set would be a great research project.
This is a great set of Schießbuchs ready for further research and display!
