Original German WWII Metropolitan Police Belt with Pebbled Aluminum EM/NCO Buckle

Original Item: Only One Available. This is a very nice WWII German Polizei (Police) NCO's Pebbled Aluminum Belt Buckle (Koppelschloß) with the correct leather belt. It is embossed with a central swas (hook cross), with a wreath around it bearing the motto Gott mit uns (God with us). Nice single piece injection molded aluminum construction box buckle with a pebbled background and oxide finish. The buckle is in very good condition, with all the pebbling in good condition, and most of the details in the wreath still present. It does however have some deformation at the loop end, which we have left intact to preserve the history. There is no maker’s mark that we can see on the buckle.
The belt itself measures about 35” clip to loop when fully extended, and does show wear from long service, with the black finish relatively well retained. The leather is solid, with no tears or major cracks, but definitely shows deterioration from age. It still retains the leather tab with a double row of 7 holes for size adjustment. The belt has no visible maker’s mark remaining. The black leather finish indicates it was for the metropolitan Schutzpolizei (Protection Police).
Overall a great example of a hard to find WW2 German Belt. Comes ready for further research and display.
