Original Item: Only One Available. This is an attractive German WWII era black leather breakaway holster intended for the compact Walther PPK pistol. It retains its complete securing hardware and bears a clearly identified WaA110 Waffenamt inspection stamp beneath the flap, giving the piece strong collector appeal.

The Walther PPK was developed as the compact version of Walther’s successful PP, or Polizeipistole, series. Its concealable size, double action mechanism, and reliable blowback operation made it popular with European police, civilian users, and German military personnel. During WWII, Walther PP and PPK pistols were carried by officers and other authorized personnel across several German military and police organizations.

This example is constructed of black leather in the desirable breakaway style, allowing the pistol to be accessed by pulling open the front portion of the holster. The exterior remains in nice, service worn condition, showing minor wear and crazing consistent with age. Some cracking is present at the bend of the flap.

The leather securing strap and its retainer are both present and remain in very good condition. The underside of the flap is stamped:

A partial ink stamp is also visible toward the opposite end of the flap. There may be an additional maker marking concealed or obscured in this area, but we were unable to locate or confirm one during examination.

This is a handsome and substantially complete German wartime pistol holster with honest service wear, intact closure components, and a desirable Waffenamt inspection mark. It would display especially well in a collection of Walther pistols, German WWII sidearm equipment, military leatherwork, or police and officer accoutrements.
