  • Original Item: Very Few Available. This is an incredible story. These are genuine aluminum 2nd Pattern NSKK Crash Helmet eagles in NOS (New Old Stock) condition. They were captured and brought home from Europe by a member of the 507th Parachute Infantry Regiment named (Willy) Guido D'Amario.

The helmets were officially called the Sturzhelm nach Vorschrift des NSKK (Crash Helmet according to NSKK regulations). The Front center of helmet featured a second pattern NSKK stylized national eagle, in Aluminum, and still is quite bright, without oxidation. Every eagle has all three integral split pins and has never been mounted to a helmet. Purchase directly from the veteran's family, these will complete a NSSK crash helmet making it worth far more than a reproduction eagle would. Amazing!

These were stored for decades, and the thin aluminum has often derformed and bent, as shown in the picture. We have left them as they were received out of storage. Please consult the picture for details.
