  • Original Item. Only One Available. The Flak 30 (Flugzeugabwehrkanone 30) and improved Flak 38 were 20 mm anti-aircraft guns used by various German forces throughout World War II. It was not only the primary German light anti-aircraft gun but by far the most numerously produced German artillery piece throughout the war. It was produced in a variety of models, notably the Flakvierling 38 which combined four Flak 38 autocannons onto a single carriage.

This is a great and unique artifact, a small section of an 2 cm Flak barrel cut off of an example that was certainly found on a battlefield. The section still retains its rifling, which appears to be 8-groove. The section of barrel itself measures 1 1/16” long, and is roughly 2 1/4” in diameter. The base has a small plaque reading WW2 GERMAN 2CM FLAK CUT BARREL. The base measures 3 x 3”.

This is a very lovely fragment of a very famous piece of German ordnance. Comes ready for display.
