Original Item: Only One Available. A very nice example of a German WWI field telephone with its original black leather covered carrying case. The telephone has a large steel hanging loop at the top, with a fold-down mouthpiece and a black painted canvas covering to the center grip. Original cord is retained, but the plugs are gone. Black leather covered metal belt case, which is maker-marked faintly. The lid of the case cover is unattached but sits fine when mounted. The case for this phone is rarer than the phone itself!
The phone is in great shape with field-wear. As the plug is gone it is certainly not operational and is therefore offered in "as is" condition.
This is a truly interesting and very scarce piece of original German World War One trench warfare equipment, ready for further research and display.
