Original German Pre-WWII O&M Haußer Tinplate Litho Wehrmacht Truck with Artillery Piece in Tow with Winding Key

Original Item: Only One Available. This is a lovely German wind up toy Wehrmacht truck with an artillery piece in tow from the WWII period, likely made by O&M Haußer from tinplate steel. They made a whole variety of these well made trucks, and this example has a lovely lithograph camouflage paint job, which is very well retained. The truck and artillery piece together measures roughly 13 ¾ x 3 ½ x 3 ½” and has six wheels total. The gun can actually have the block pulled back and released to simulate firing.
As with many German toys of the time, it actually is functional, with a small spring to pull back the firing pin to “fire” the gun. This example even retains a working key that allows the truck to be wound one tick before having to pull the key out and adjust it to wind again. It is likely not the original key, but it works. The front wheels show some damage but are still intact.
