Original Item. Only One Set Available. This is a great set of WWII Royal Canadian Air Force Pattern High Altitude boots in Size 10. They may be a matched set, as one of the soles is well-marked B.F. GOODRICH / 10 while the other is not. However, both sets have CANADA embossed into the bottom, although only faintly on one of them. This pattern came into issue with the RCAF during the Second World War and saw use with a variety of Air Forces including the USAAF.
They are a simple flying boot consisting of a rubber sole and leather upper which is sheepskin lined. A 'Lightning' zipper is used to close the front of the boot. Only the one boot is marked with a size, but they appear to be the same size. The rubber around the bottom of the boots, as is often the case with flying boots, does show signs of cracking and heavy overall wear. The sheepskin looks to be in OK condition and both the zips work.
A great set of Canadian flight boots, ready for further research and display.
