Original Item: This is the elite Gurkha Regiment in the Royal Nepalese Army based in Surket, Nepal. The last ten years have seen the political situation in this mountain kingdom between China and India deteriorate almost in civil war with the Maoist movement. The crack Gurkha anti terrorist unit is known as the "Fighting 4" (4th Battalion) and while we were in Nepal we purchased several of these surplus caps that this unit uses on a daily basis.
