Original Items. Very Few Available. We are offering a great selection of M1928 haversack pack extenders / pack tails which are almost always missing from these packs. Each example is in good condition with storage wear and some minor staining.
Each example retains its integral leather strap which is what connects the pack tail to the haversack. During World War I, with the M1910 Haversack model, this leather strap was entirely separate and thus almost always lost, so with the M1928 model, the leather strap was integrated into the pack tail by means of a thin canvas strap looped through a horizontal hole in the strap.
Each pack extender is marked US on the front and BOYT / 42 on the back for 1942 manufacture by Boyt.
