Item Description
Original Items: Unissued. Straight from the crate! Or in this case, the original stamped and heavy paper packaging, which is marked Hier öffnen, or "Open here" on one end. The bottom of that end of the packaging shows a clear Reichsadler raised stamp, so these were most likely intended for military use, probably for officers. The boxes each contain 100 pre-rolled zigarettenhülsen (cigarette tubes), which have thicker paper at one end with "filter plugs" inside. These are nothing like modern filters, and look to just be small wads of paper that do not even go all the way across the tube.
Each box is labeled 100 Stück (100 pieces) on the top, with the makers name and logo easily visible:

This translates to:

There are also guarantees / slogans on the two longer sides of each box, which read:

These translate roughly to:

The filter plugs of these cigarette tubes, mark “Altesse”, have proven themselves for two decades.
Each tube itself measures 70mm (2 3/4") in length, and 7mm (0.28" in diameter, while the box measures about 5 7/8"L x 3 7/8"W x 1 1/8"H.
A great bit of German WWII militaria, perfect for adding that extra bit of authenticity to a display!
