Item Description
Original Item: Constructed of pressed paper cardboard this is a 12 inch tall hollow figure of a World War Two British Home Guard soldier complete with large mustache. These figures were designed during WW2 to hold chocolates. Some designs had removable heads while others has a stopper at the feet. This example was accessed through the bottom of the feet but the stopper is absent. Offered in excellent condition, very few of these exist today as they are fragile and were never intended to last the test of time.
