World War II U.S. Marine Corps P-44 Utility Cap, yes we know that real Marines refer to this as a cover, OD Herringbone Twill (HBT) cotton construction. Please note that these do not have a separate top piece like current 8-point utility covers. Also, the use of the EGA on the cover began during the Korean war but the P44 cap was developed and used during WWII.
