Original Item: Only One Available. This a very nice example of an original WWII German Naval Kriegsmarine Flag Car / Automobile / Vehicle Fender Pennant used for officer vehicles.
This pennant measures 12 1/2 inches by 8 inches and is double sided. It is constructed of blue wool fabric around a central cotton layer, with a yellow cotton border and a yellow Kriegsmarine embroidered eagle. It has a blue cotton header, with an integral elastic cord inside, which has two nickel-plated spring clips on the ends. Both clips are fully functional. Also includes is the original nickle plated pole mount which almost always missing.
Overall condition very good, with just a bit of wear and staining from age and use. The reverse side has 4" x .5" tear but as the material is still attached on one side it does not detract from the appeal of this rare pennant. The colors are still vibrant, making this a choice example. Ready to display!
