Original German WWI Trench Art Inert Egg Grenade & Artillery Fuse Candle Holder with Snuffer

Original Item. Only One Available. This is an interesting piece of WWI German trench art made from pieces of an Egg Grenade and an artillery shell, to create a candle holder. Like all deactivated ordnance, this grenade is Not Available for Export.
The artillery shell fuse is used as the base of the holder, with the bottom half of an egg grenade as the holder. The third piece appears to have been meant as a “Snuffer” to snuff out the candle when not in use. The snuffer does not fit onto the top, but it can sit on top of the grenade piece for display. With the snuffer on, the piece measures roughly 3½” tall, with a 1⅞” base diameter. A great piece of trench art, ready for further research and display.
