Original Items: Only One Lot of 9 Available. A one of a kind lot of nine WWII GI Field Gear pieces. All pieces except for the reproduction K-ration are in original, unmodified, condition, and show signs of honest use and storage wear that has accumulated over the last several decades. Most will have additional issue markings added at the arsenal or by the soldiers in various places.

The Lot Includes The Following Items:

- U.S. M1928 Field Pack Haversack: Made by B-G Inc and dated 1942. Does include Pack Mess Kit "Meatcan" Pouch. It does show wear and some straps have been removed.

- U.S. Carrier, Pack, M-1928 / Pack Tail "Diaper": These were a triangular attachment for the bottom of the M1928 Haversack that would provide space for a shelter half or blanket at the bottom of the haversack.

- U.S. Pouch, Meat Can, M-1928 / Mess Kit Pouch: This pouch attaches to the top flap of the M-1928 haversack and allows storage of the "Meat Can" Mess kit used during WWII.

- U.S. WWII Mess Tin Meat Can: In very good condition, maker marked Knapp-Monarch Co. and dated 1942.

- UNMATCHED PAIR of M-1938 Infantry Leggings: These look to be unissued, and only show oxidation to the fittings and storage wear. Dated 1941 & 1942.

- M1 Carbine Magazine Pouch by CHARLOTTE TEN & AWNING CO. In very good condition with a working snap, dated 1943.

- M-1938 Wire Cutters POUCH: Lovely unissued condition wire cutters pouch by Schell Lea and dated 1944.

- M-1942 Canteen & Pouch NO CUP: Lovely canteen and pouch, extensive damage on the body of the canteen with fading and wear to the pouch. The canteen is marked GP & F Co and is dated 1943.

- M-1918 BAR M-1942 Ammunition Belt: The belt is undamaged and shows signs of field use and wear.

- Reproduction K-Ration Dinner Unit with wooden block inside, wrapped in waxed paper.

A really great set of field gear that makes up a good portion of the usual load out for a WWII Soldier. Ready to display or use in reenactments!
