In addition, there is a WW2 era Pistol Belt with snap for magazine pouch, a pair of U.S.N. marked Pilot's earphones and two leather Flight Helmets, as well as both of his original WW2 issue dog tags and a ruptured duck pin still in its original paper backing.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eAccompanying this collection is a photo album with photographs (29) of Alaska and Post Cards (13 in all) showing North Africa with messages on the back dated 1942 etc. mostly all addressed to Mrs George Winsted of Valley Cottage, New York, USA.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThere is a second grouping of photographs (17) mostly 8\" X 10\" showing George Winsted at the Alamo and San Antonio dated December 1944. There are are also between 95 and 100 un-mounted WW2 snap shots many with the identification on the rear together with 1942\/3 dates and many bearing a stamp stating  \"Passed by U.S. Army Examiner #.......\".\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThere is one *8 X 10\" photo dated 1945 showing George Winsted in a military grouping with eleven others in his unit from Robbins Field, Georgia.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eFinally there is one recent photograph of white bearded old timer that we suspect is also of George Winsted in the closing years of his life standing in front of some light aircraft, it is undated.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eA fascinating collection of WW2 memorabilia including over 150 original photos and written WW2 post cards together with many elements of this veteran's WW2 uniform etc.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eEverything comes in an original WW2 Kit Bag but NOT named to George Winsted, the bag complete with returning tags showing it as Hand Baggage to Fort Dix, New Jersey and dated October 7th 1945 belonged to Staff Sgt.
