This item just goes to show the anti-German sentiment that existed before December 7th, 1941.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThese are scarce items today simply because they were not very well made to begin with. Cast from plaster, with an applied cotton bound batting-filled pin cushion. The figurine is hand painted, with most of the original paint still present. The figure measures approximately 5 inches tall. This example is in great shape, with just a small\u003cstrong\u003e piece broken off of the base as shown.\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThese originally came with a paper tag tied around the neck, and this one is retained, however it was torn completely into two pieces.
