Usually the blades were made from existing weapons or from steel components, and the hilts were cast from metals such as aluminum or zinc.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe handle of this knife is made of a brass pipe, with the tang inside and secured at the bottom by steel. It has an oval shaped machined steel crossguard.
