The lighter itself is made from a WWII MkII \"Pineapple\" Fragmentation grenade, and was made using the original fuse mechanism. The lighter has a flint spark wheel mechanism installed into the fuze, with the top being removable to allow the filling of lighter fluid \u0026amp; a wick. The wick is very worn down and would require a replacement for use. The grenade has been repainted black but much of the paint is worn.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eWe have not tested it, but see no reason why without a proper servicing it would not function correctly as a lighter!
