Original U.S. WWII Navy Amphibious Forces Hand Painted SEABEES Artwork N-4 Jacket - As Seen in Book

Item Description

Original Item: One-of-a-kind. This is an original Amphibious Forces Hand Painted SEABEES 146th Naval Construction Battalion CAN-DO! Artwork N-4 Jacket featured on page 163 in the book U.S. Naval Amphibious Forces; U.S. Navy Uniforms in World War II Series by Jeff Warner. In fact this jacket was purchased by IMA from the estate of Mr. Warner along with much of his personal collection.

We do not believe the hand painted artwork to be period applied. It was almost certainly painted after World War Two by a very good artists that captured the authenticity of the World War Two era.
