Known for his tough made and heavy construction steel knives. This one comes with beautiful horn handles held with brass pins, though there is cracking on one side. The back of the sheath is named to the soldier who carried it.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe knife sports a 7 ¼” fixed blade which shows heavy sharpening. It is stamped on the ricasso:\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp style=\"text-align: center;\"\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eG. GRUNEWALD\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eATHENS, W’S\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe overall length is 12 ¼”. The horn grips are cracked on one side.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe original leather sheath is custom-made with great patterned tooling along the edges. There is a leg tie down retained as well.
