After the war, the holster was produced in larger numbers by Rock Island Arsenal and it was widely carried through Vietnam. WWII made examples are scarce and highly sought after by collectors. Many were also altered post war, like this one that now exhibits a lovely blackened finish.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe leather is in a beautiful aged condition, with some wear and damage to the leather on the edges. The lift-the-dot snap still works.
