There is a Purple Heart Medal and Bronze Star Medal pinned to the portrait, which we checked and found that they are not engraved. If they were field issued awards, they would not have been engraved.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThis portrait is a great research opportunity, as there shouldn’t be many Morelands who were both wounded and awarded the Bronze Star. The frame is a nice patriotic example in fair condition overall.
