This is the upper casing of the Radio Compass Loop Antenna Type LP-21-F used in conjunction with the radio compass S.C.R. 269 and R-5/ARN-7 Radio compass receiver widely fitted to WWII B-17 Flying Fortresses B-24 Liberators during World War Two. It measures approximately 28 inches long by 11" tall by 9" wide. Nicely marked on the side LP-21-F. Manufactured by the Bendix corporation.
