The section appears to have been cut from a larger regulation wool blanket and now retains a total of 92 hand-sewn patches and insignia. The section measures 32 x 35”.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eSouvenir patch blankets were assembled by servicemen as personal records of wartime experience, travel, trade, and collecting. Patches could be obtained from comrades, exchanged with personnel from other units, purchased, or brought home as souvenirs.
