This is a good United States Army produced Camouflage HBT Coverall Fatigue Uniform set in “Frogskin” pattern camouflage. This reversible one piece coverall was designed for combat in jungle\/tropical conditions. It features 13 star metal buttons on the cuffs and large cargo pockets flaps which are held down by stout brass friction snaps. While developed by the Army, these coveralls are best known for use by the Marines in the Pacific Theater during WW2.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eOverall condition is good with signs of heavy wear. One of the two front breast pockets is entirely missing, torn away long ago. The set has a fully functional \u003cstrong\u003eCONMAR \u003c\/strong\u003ezipper, and functional unmarked snaps. These are always hard to find as most were well used and discarded. Originally fitted with internal suspenders, which proved impractical, they were usually discarded, and are absent on this example. There is an original tag in the right hip pocket, but any information has been washed away, so there is no date or manufacturer’s information present.
