Original Item. Only One Available. This is a lovely Type A-11 Flying helmet as used by pilots of the Army Air Force during World War II.
The A-11 is a simple lined winter flying helmet constructed from four segments of leather. It features hooks to fit the harness of either the type A-9 or type A-10 Standard oxygen masks, tie strings (forehead and neck) for adjustment and a fleece-covered leather chin strap.
This example is in great shape and retains its tag, reading:

Another tag reads MEDIUM. The helmet is in good overall condition with the velvet chinrest still retained on the strap. The helmet contains none of its radio components.
