We previously had one of these that was ceramic, however this example is made from several pieces of cast iron which were welded or glued together, and is relatively heavy for its size. Additionally, the back of the tail is marked \u003cstrong\u003eMUSSOLINI\u003c\/strong\u003e and \u003cstrong\u003eHIROHITO\u003c\/strong\u003e, the other two axis leaders, though due to oxidation this can be hard to read.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe skunk does suffer from some war wounds, including paint cracking \/ checking, paint deterioration, and some scratches and chips. There is also oxidation to the iron body where the paint is missing, so it may have been stored in a moist environment for some time. Still, overall it is in very good condition considering the age.
