This is the lovely WWII Uniform and Diary grouping of Technical Sergeant Joseph Bernard Mueller, who fought with the 861st Field Artillery Battalion, 63rd Infantry Division, and was transferred to the 84th Infantry Division at the end of the war. The group contains the uniform, the diary, a small group of nine photographs, most of which are inscribed on the back, and some small extra uniform ephemera bits.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe uniform jacket has an 84th ID patch on the left shoulder and a 63rd ID patch on the right shoulder. There are Technical Sergeant rates on each sleeve with US \u0026amp; cavalry collar insignia. Over the left breast pocket is a stitched-on three-place ribbon bar with the European-African Middle Eastern Campaign medal, WWII Victory Medal, and Occupation medal. There is a proficiency badge with Driver-W underneath. The jacket has a contract date inside of \u003cstrong\u003eJune 3rd, 1944\u003c\/strong\u003e and is Size \u003cstrong\u003e40R\u003c\/strong\u003e.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eAlso included in the pocket are a Technician 5th Grade patch, Ruptured duck patch, ruptured duck badge, Mini WWII Victory Medal, and some pins.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThere are 9 photographs with the diary showing Mueller with friends, at locations such as Bad Hall, Austria, in the snow, and some other shots. He appears to be skiing in some shots, and in one shot he points an arrow at himself. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe diary has some pages numbered up to 58, so there are roughly 60 pages of writing in the diary.
