Original U.S. WWI Navy Named Medical Officer M1895 Pattern Undress Jacket with Forage Cap - Dated 1918

Item Description

Original Items: Only One Available. A fine tailor made M-1895 / M1912 Undress Blouse Jacket named to Dr. L. W. White and dated September 1918. Constructed of blue wool with gilt ribbon and maroon felt cuff bands, 1 1/4” “illustrious” black mohair edging, full lining with all buttons present, bullion embroidered 1st lieutenant and Navy Medical Corps Collar Device (MC) device insignia on collar.

Also included is a pattern M-1895 officer forge cap with bullion gilt embroidery on visor and gilt chinstrap. Cap is in overall good condition with some wear from use on the interior. Size is approximately a U.S. 7.
