This is an absolute beauty of a holster. This is a WWI period AEF US Army\/USMC Leather Belt Holster for the Colt or S\u0026amp;W M1892 or M1902 Revolver.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe holster is in fair overall condition, with the leather still soft, and light wear around the edges. The bottom ring for the leg tie down is gone, but someone during the period inserted a leather loop through, with the leather tie string attached to that. The small leather tie inside the belt loop to secure it from moving when mounted is now gone, unfortunately. It has a clear \u003cstrong\u003eUS \u003c\/strong\u003eoval logo on the front. The leather is still soft, solid with great intact stitching. The front flap is stamped:\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp style=\"text-align: center;\"\u003e\u003cstrong\u003e14 D\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cstrong\u003e68\u003c\/strong\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThis could denote Company D of the 14th Infantry or 14th Cavalry.
