It had both guerrilla and regular army units, as well as a network of cadres who organized peasants in the territory it controlled. Many soldiers were recruited in South Vietnam, but others were attached to the People's Army of Vietnam (PAVN), the regular North Vietnamese army.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThis is a great North Vietnamese uniform set consisting of a shirt and pants, perfect for a mannequin display.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe set includes the shirt with two breast pockets, though one misses the button. The front closure is missing two buttons, and there are white stitches on the collar where insignia once was. There are loops on both shoulders for shoulder boards. There is a faint circular stamp under the collar which likely has the size.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe pants are in similar condition with a four-button front closure with all buttons retained.
