Of note, the 51st Company became Company G of the 5th Marine Regiment, 2nd Division in France during World War I.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe photo has extremely heavy wear, with scratching and blemishes in the photo. The glass is gone and the photo is now loose with the metal spikes that keep it in place now pushed through the cardboard. This piece could do with some serious restoration, but Marine yardlongs from this period are very difficult to find.
