The wood stocks are in good shape with some discoloration in spots, with a beautiful color and finish, and some hand-carved checkering of the buttstock wood on the left side behind the receiver, and some custom arrow markings below the barrel. The most noticeable difference was the solid top with its side-ejection system. Internal upgrades included a locking lug and firing pin system that prevented discharge until the bolt was locked in place.
