Original Item: Only One Available. This is a stellar example of a Korean War-Era Bancroft “Pak-Cap” with the original Bancroft tag! The Pak-Cap included a device behind the front badge to allow it to fold up and pack easier. Under the sweatband is the size marking 6¾ as well as the name LT. LOUIS J MASTROPAOLO / 01872411, who received letters of recommendation for his work with the 90th Field Artillery Battalion, 25th Infantry Division during the Korean War.
The cap retains the original Bancroft tag which has a small booklet with information on the cap and how to care for it. These are very scarce to find on these caps, especially one from the Korean War Era. The interior plastic tag is still great as well. The condition of the cap is unissued and near mint, the best of its kind we have ever offered.
