Only One Available. This is a great large-sized South Korean flag dating to the 1950s or 1960s. The flag measures roughly 32 x 45 inches and has two sets of tie strings in two corners for attachment to a pole. There is no header.

The flag of South Korea, also known as the Taegukgi (Korean: 태극기 or 'Taegeuk flag'), has three parts: a white rectangular background, a red and blue Taegeuk in its center, and four black trigrams one toward each corner. Flags similar to the current Taegeukgi were used as the national flag of Korea by the Joseon dynasty, the Korean Empire, and the Korean government-in-exile during Japanese rule. South Korea adopted the Taegukgi as its national flag when it gained independence from Japan on 15 August 1948.

This example of the Taegukgi is quite attractive and likely dates between the 1950s and 1960s. The insignia is printed, and is in great shape with usual creases from being folded, though there is also some heavy staining from over the years.

A fantastic example ready for further research and display.

https://www.ima-usa.com/products/original-u-s-korean-war-era-printed-south-korean-large-size-taegukgi-flag-with-tie-strings-32-x-45
