The end does not have a “header” for a flagpole, but has leather tabs at each end for hanging. This very well could have been flown during the Korean War at USMC Headquarters locations, or just at Headquarters locations stateside. There is much research to be done on this outstanding flag. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe embroidery work on this example is tremendous, and is very well-retained for its age.
