These were intended to be a loose-fitting garment for wear in the field, as opposed to a tailored parade uniform, these were utilitarian by design.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe five-button front still retains all five rimmed officer’s buttons, each marked \u003cstrong\u003eEXTRA QUALITY\u003c\/strong\u003e. The interior lining is blue colored and in great shape. There are the expected moth nips, but it is otherwise in wonderful condition.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eEach shoulder has a pinned-on bullion-bordered shoulder board with embroidered 2nd Lieutenant bars. They appear to have been on the coat a very long time. All six smaller buttons are missing from the cuffs.
