Original Item: Only One Available. US M1878 Canteen with a tan canvas cover with a very clear U.S. stencil on the front, in very good condition.
The canteen is complete with its original cork stopper secured to one of the triangular loops found on each side of the body by a chain. It also has the proper pattern canteen canvas strap, of the earliest non-adustable style. No denting to the body, though there is the expected water stains around the nozzle and wear to the canvas. A great chance to pick up a good example of this iconic canteen.
