The items were procured by an amateur historian while accompanying a veteran’s organization on a tour of the battlefield. We were told these items came from the site, but we have no paperwork or provenance to back this up.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eAll of the ordnance in this set has been demilitarized according to specifications by the BATF, and makes this set not available for export.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe items include:\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e- Small German artillery fuze with provenance tag reading: \u003cstrong\u003eRavine at Sleigden, Luxembourg when entire German Platoon was ambushed + wiped out except 1 man. \u003c\/strong\u003eWe have no idea how the fuze connects to the story.\u003cbr\u003e- German field shovel fragment with some retained wood in handle hole.\u003cbr\u003e- U.S. M1942 canteen with cap, cap is seized. Marked \u003cstrong\u003eUS VOLLRATH 1943\u003c\/strong\u003e.\u003cbr\u003e- Relic BAR magazine, broken.\u003cbr\u003e- Two relic M1 Carbine magazines, broken.\u003cbr\u003e- Two large relic body chunks from a German 8cm mortar. \u003cbr\u003e- Relic Tail assembly from German 8cm mortar. \u003cbr\u003e- Relic German K98 bayonet scabbard, relic.\u003cbr\u003e- Relic German M39 egg grenade body. \u003cbr\u003e- Small bag of relic belt pieces, buckles, and other small bits.\u003cbr\u003e- Some other small relic pieces we could not identify.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThis is a great lot of items with good displayability.
